How does online ordering work?
I partnered with a service called Ecwid to facilitate online ordering in a way that is simple, powerful and convenient for both you and your customers. I have tried several options for my own businesses. Most are good but overcomplicated, leading to frustrations and, ultimately, abandonment of online ordering. It works, it's simple, and it is easy for customers and you to navigate.
What are the fees/cost?
This service is pretty straight forward with simple and transparent pricing. To make it easier for small businesses to get online, I do not charge huge upfront prices like most designers and agencies. Instead, I charge affordable, recurring monthly subscriptions and you can cancel whenever you like. I do have a $200 start-up fee, but there are ways to waive it. Sign up for a free account or message me about the details about that waiver. Further pricing info can be found at the bottom of this page.
How do I edit the site myself?
Taking your website into your own hands is simple with the included editor. Take on as much control as you are comfortable with. Edit up to 90% of your site content on your own with no additional fees or get access to the Unlimited Editor and change anything you like. Unlimited Editor access also comes with 2 Pro Design hours from Ben every month. These hours can be used to ask Ben to create more complex additions that you aren't comfortable making on your own or they can be used to fix someting id you get a litttle too ambitious and need something fixed.
What if I already have website with a domain?
We can duplicate your site over to the MINISITE platform and redirect your domain to your new site. I'll help you take care of this.
What if I need changes after my site has launched?
After your site is launched, you can either make changes yourself or sign up for Unlimited Editor access which comes with 2 hours of Ben's time every month that can be used to have him make changes to your site. If you use up those 2 hours or have an addition that will take longer, those changes default to Ben's hourly rate of $50/hour.
Am I on my own after site launch?
Never. You are never on your own with this service. Support, questions, and advice are always free. I am irrationally passionate about small business and I am here to help. Think of me as your personal web designer. Email me, chat or text me when you need help.
Who manages customer orders?
You will be responsible for setting up and managing your shop within your Ecwid dashboard as well as managing and fulfilling your customer orders. But, Ben is here to help and guide you every step of the way!
